The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Joesph Thomas as the resident who employed Vitory Lewandowski as the live-in domestic. Lewis Schenck, secretary and treasurer of the S. C. Schenck Company and treasurer of the Toledo & Indiana Railroad Company, was the occupant in 1918, while the 1921 directory listed Charles Mascho, the vice-president of the National Supply Company, as the resident of 2247 Scottwood.
