2906 Scottwood was home to George Hall according to the 1910, 1911 and 1912 Polk city directories. Mr. Hall was the millwright with the Toledo Computing Scale Company. Jennette Campbell, a nurse with the Toledo District Nurses' Association boarded here in 1912. The 1918 city directory listed Geirge Bernheisel, a salesman with the Jewel Tea Company as the occupant, while the 1921 directory listed Myer Newman of Newman Brothers who sold hats at 321 Monroe Street. The 1918 directory also listed Hazel Bernheisel as a public school teacher who roomed in the house. | |||||
